As the manager here at Northlands I have the responsibility to ensure that our care and support is as best as it can be. I believe that as care staff we learn every day and each day is an opportunity to improve and strive for excellence in our care & support for our residents.

I have been nursing all of my life and I continue to enjoy my work every day. I have experience in both the NHS, and in the independent sector specialising in Dementia and Elderly Care. My knowledge and practical experience led to me becoming the Head of Learning & Development at the Dementia Centre (DSDC) University of Stirling working across the UK and Internationally. I have won awards for my achievements culminating in the Mental Health Nurse of the Year Award in 2013 from The Royal College of Nursing.
